South Korean skincare company CURETEM BIO is expanding the overseas distribution of its dermocosmetics brand EXOBIO, targeting pharmacy and professional skincare channels in Europe and North America. The expansion comes as the global dermocosmetics market continues to grow, driven in part by consumer demand for skincare products developed around specific skin concerns and ingredients.

According to market research firm Fortune Business Insights, the global dermocosmetics market is projected to increase from USD 47.91 billion in 2025 to USD 52.59 billion in 2026, reaching USD 117 billion by 2034. The market is expected to record a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.51% between 2026 and 2034.
Europe has an established dermocosmetics industry, with brands such as La Roche-Posay and Vichy in France and Eucerin in Germany operating through pharmacy and skincare distribution networks. Korean skincare companies are also seeking opportunities in the region as interest in specialized skincare ingredients and products grows.
CURETEM BIO has been developing EXOBIO's European distribution network through participation in PharmagoraPlus, a pharmacy industry exhibition in France, as well as exports to Germany and retail distribution in Warsaw, Poland. The company is also pursuing partnerships with professional skincare distributors in the United Kingdom.
In North America, EXOBIO products are being used at aesthetic skincare facilities in New York, according to the company. CURETEM BIO is also exploring additional distribution opportunities in Canada, Australia, Japan and other markets.
Within South Korea, EXOBIO has expanded its pharmacy distribution network to commercial areas including Myeong-dong, Gangnam, Hongdae and Seongsu in Seoul, along with locations in Busan and Jeju. The company is using these retail channels, some of which attract international visitors, to reach overseas consumers.
EXOBIO's product portfolio includes the BIO 357™ EXOSOME collection, which incorporates plant-derived exosomes into skincare formulations intended for different skin concerns. The collection consists of three main products: No. 3 VITA EXOSOME, formulated for skin tone and brightening care; No. 5 PDRN EXOSOME, developed for skin firmness and anti-aging care; and No. 7 CICA EXOSOME, intended for soothing, moisturizing and skin barrier care.
The BIO 357™ system allows consumers to use individual products or combine them according to their skincare needs. CURETEM BIO positions the approach as a personalized skincare routine rather than a single-product solution.
According to the company, BIO 357™ EXOSOME products are also used for topical skincare alongside LDM treatments at certain dermatology clinics. The products are marketed for both professional skincare applications and home use.
CURETEM BIO plans to further develop the BIO 357™ system by incorporating AI-based skin analysis and product recommendation features. The proposed system would provide skincare recommendations based on individual skin conditions and concerns.
A CURETEM BIO spokesperson said the company intends to build on its existing dermatology and pharmacy distribution channels in South Korea to expand EXOBIO's presence in European and North American skincare markets. The company said it will continue pursuing overseas distribution partnerships while developing its personalized skincare product lineup.
